This time-honored blend is carefully crafted to balance the best of both regions, delivering a well-rounded and complex cup. A perfect middle ground for a well-rounded experience. ☕Coffee Flavor Notes: Aroma – Floral with a hint of spice.Flavor – Bright acidity and fruity notes from the Yirgacheffe balanced with the full-bodied, earthy, and slightly spicy tones from the Java.Body – Medium to full.Finish – Smooth and slightly sweet with a lingering earthiness. Origin, Elevation, and Varietals: 🌱Ethiopia Yirgacheffe – Grown at elevations between 1,800 and 2,200 meters above sea level, these beans are known for their vibrant flavor profile. The heirloom varietals are meticulously cultivated and handpicked to ensure only the highest quality cherries. 🌄Indonesia Java – Cultivated at altitudes ranging from 1,200 to 1,500 meters, these Typica and Catimor varietals are renowned for their full-bodied richness and deep, earthy notes. It’s a fertile land, abundant with natural resources and is so well-known for its exotic products that it became known hundreds of years ago as “the spice island.” Today Indonesia remains rich; not only in resources but in its varied cultures. The country is a paradise for visitors who never fail to marvel at the beauty of its scenery, the variety of its arts, and the warmth of its people. Agriculture has been the traditional backbone of Indonesia’s economy. The country is a major producer of several important cash crops grown either on large estates or by smallholders. The nation is now the world’s second largest exporter of palm oil. Other significant cash crops are sugar cane, cinnamon, nutmeg, tobacco, cloves, paper, cocoa, tea, and coffee. Blessed by good soil and abundant rainfall, Indonesia is the world’s third leading producer and exporter of coffee. Approximately ninety percent of Indonesia’s total production is Robusta, with Arabica making up the remaining ten percent. Indonesia’s coffee industry planners recognize a rising worldwide demand for Arabica and are taking steps to replace Robusta cultivation with Arabica wherever possible. Indonesian coffee is known everywhere for its high quality, fine taste, and distinct aroma. The beginning of the coffee industry in Indonesia can be traced back to the arrival of Arabica coffee on the shore of Java in 1699. Although the native farmers of Java were the first to cultivate Arabica, it soon spread throughout many provinces of Indonesia. By 1712, years of harvesting provided the first bag of Indonesian coffee to be exported to Amsterdam. Over the years, as exports have grown, so has the reputation of Java coffee. Cupping Notes are gathered by using the cupping method to get a general idea of what natural flavor notes a coffee contains. Flavor profile will vary between different brewing methods and roast profiles. For Best Results it might be necessary for the coffee to degas 24 – 48 Hours when it arrives at your location to release trapped gases from within the beans which is a result from the roasting process. As always if you Have any Questions or Concerns Feel free to Reach out to us.

We have other Coffees and weights available as well check out our eBay Store for More! Coffee Origin Information Many of the islands of Indonesia were formed by volcanoes. Therefore, they are mountainous and have rich soil that is ideal for growing coffee. It is no wonder that some of the world’s most famous coffees are grown on the islands of the Malay Archipelago of Indonesia: Sumatra, Sulawesi, and Java. Approximately 15% of all the coffee grown in Indonesia is Arabica. Sumatra is the second largest islandof the Republic of Indonesia. Sumatra Mandheling coffee is grown on thelofty volcanic slopes of Mount Leuser near the port of Padang in the Balak region of west-central Sumatra. Coffee trees were originally brought to Indonesia in the early 19th century by the Dutch, who sought to break the world-wide Arabic monopoly on the cultivation of coffee. Within a few years, Indonesian coffee dominated the world’s coffee market. Yet by the end of the century disease completely destroyed the crop. Coffee trees were successfully replanted and quickly gained a large share of the world market until the plantations were ravaged again during World WarII. “Mandailing”, spelled here correctly, is technically an ethnic group in Indonesia, not a region, as is Batak. The unique method used in its production results in a very full body with a concentrated flavor, garnished with herbal nuances and a spicy finish. Giling Basah, the name of the traditional Sumatran process, involves hulling the parchment off of the bean at roughly 50% moisture content; for comparison, most other processes hull coffee at around 10-12% moisture. This unique Sumatran process results in a trademark flavor profile (low acidity and a richness that lingers on the back of the palate) and gives the green beans a signature dark color. Notes of chocolate are evident in the finish. We buy Grade 1 Sumatras as Double-Picked (DP) or Triple-Picked (TP), referring to the number of times the coffee is hand-picked for defects. This extra quality control results in a very consistent cup including only cherries at optimum ripeness. 5 LBS VENEZUELAN VENEZUELA MARACAIBOS UNROASTED GREEN COFFEE BEANS – ARABICA

5 Lbs of Fresh Green Un-Roasted Arabica from Venezuela Maracaibo Venezuela Region: Maracaibo Milling Process: Natural Screen:14/16 Cup Characteristics Sweet Notes, Slight Rich Flavor, Balanced Acidity, Smooth, Clean Crisp Finish Aroma: Soft Body: Medium Acidity: Balanced INFORMATION Coffee production in Venezuela began in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries in the Premontane shankarof the Andes mountains. José Gumilla, a Jesuit priest, is credited with introducing coffee into Venezuela, in 1732. Its production is attributed to the large demand for the product, coupled with cheap labour and low land costs. It was first exported to Brazil.Coffee production in Venezuela led to the «complex migration» of people to this region in the late nineteenth century.Though Venezuela was ranked close to Colombia at one time in coffee production, by 2001, it produced less than one percent of the world’s coffee. Coffee production occurs in the Coast Range and the western Andean region with the only requirements being sufficient top soil and moisture. The coffee production system followed in the Andes region, which is the premontane moist forest, is a multilayered system (3 to 4 layered canopies) in which there are multi-species of plants. In this system, trees provide the shade needed for growth of coffee. This region is a part in the three geographical regions of Venezuela namely, the Mountains and Caribbean Coastal region, the Llanos region, and the Orinoco River Delta region, and the Guayana region. The plantations are generally in the attitudinal range of 1,000–5,000 feet (300–1,520 m), bordering with Colombia. The fertile region in the highland areas consisted of Táchira, Mérida, and Trujilo, known as the Andean frontier region, and are suitable for growing coffee which could be exported from the Maracaibo’s port. This resulted in increased production of coffee in the 19th century. The “Maracaibos” coffee exported from the Maracaibo port has sub varieties called Cucuta, Mérida, Trujillo, and Tachira. The eastern mountains coffee is known as Caracas, named after the capital city. While these are the local varieties of coffee grown in Venezuela, the basic universal coffee varieties under which the Venezuelan one fall under are the arabica (Coffea arabica L.)

Information The Nicaraguan coffee trade has gone through turbulent times since it began in the mid-1800s, enduring periods of both high and low demand. In recent decades the Nicaraguan coffee trade has been hurt by civil war and hurricanes as well as the U.S. bans on Nicaraguan imports during the cold war. Nicaraguan coffee is now beginning to make a comeback to its former popularity. The coffees of Nicaragua are classified, or graded, based upon the altitude at which they are grown. It’s imported by green coffee importers, who partner with distributors and brokers in Central America to get un-roasted green coffees into the United States and Canada in container-quantities (usually 45,000 lbs). A good Nicaraguan coffee displays a mild, fruity brightness and will tend toward higher-toned characteristics such as citrus and floral sensations rather than lower-toned sensations such as papaya/apricot and chocolate. The coffees of Nicaragua are characteristic of Central American coffees in general, though typically milder in acidity than most other Central American coffees. Nicaragua coffee is wet processed (washed). Nicaragua has some of the lower growing elevations among the Central Americas, but most will qualify for High Grown, and Strictly High Grown (SHG) is available. *Cupping Notes are gathered by using the cupping method to get a general idea of what natural flavor notes a coffee contains. Flavor profile will vary between different brewing methods and roast profiles. For Best Results it might be necessary for the coffee to degas 24 – 48 Hours when it arrives at your location to release trapped gases from within the beans which is a result from the roasting process.
